Education: Tim graduated from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Connecticut in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He has been serving the people of DeKalb County since that time, taking his first job as Director of Physical Therapy at Sandwich Community Hospital. He accepted a position as Chief Physical Therapist at Northern Illinois University in 1976. The private practice was established in 1978. He has completed many advanced courses in treatment of orthopaedic conditions, including study at the Rehab Institute in Chicago, Emory University, and Northwestern University.
Clinically: Tim enjoys working with a varied caseload of orthopaedic and medical conditions. He divides his clinical duties between the DeKalb and Rochelle offices.
Socially: Tim lives in DeKalb. His three daughters are married. Kelly is a Physical Therapist practicing in New Mexico, Emily is an accountant in Waconda, and Sara is a school teacher in Minnesota. Tim is a member on the Board of Directors of Oak Crest Retirement Center and an active member of Kishwaukee Kiwanis.
What type of treatment will
Treatment is based on the initial examination findings along with ongoing reassessment and evaluation. Treatment may consist of a variety of hands-on joint and soft tissue treatment techniques, gentle exercise techniques, pain reducing modalities, and education in self-management skills.
