Education: Tara graduated in May 2009 from Northern Illinois University with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree in 2007, also from NIU. Tara is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Clinically: Tara enjoys seeing a varied caseload of orthopedic and other medical conditions. She takes pleasure in working with the geriatric population, both in the outpatient setting as well as in the home.
Socially: In her spare time, Tara enjoys spending time outdoors playing or watching sports. She loves adventurous activities including rock climbing, whitewater rafting, skiing, and skydiving. She and her husband, Kalen, reside in Sycamore.
What type of treatment will
I receive?
Treatment is based on the initial examination findings along with ongoing reassessment and evaluation. Treatment may consist of a variety of hands-on joint and soft tissue treatment techniques, gentle exercise techniques, pain reducing modalities, and education in self-management skills.
