Education: Liza graduated in May 2012 from Northern Illinois University with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Health Science in 2010 and her B.S. in Rehabilitation Services in 2009. Liza has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Illinois chapter since 2010.
Clinically: Liza enjoys treating a varied caseload including orthopedic and other medical conditions with manual treatment and functional exercises. She is interested in promoting wellness and implementing prevention interventions.
Socially: Outside of work, Liza enjoys being outdoors, hiking and playing golf with her husband, Aaron, and playing with their children Ella, Jack, and Vivian. She is an active member and preschool teacher at her church in Marengo. Liza enjoys being able to provide physical therapy services to the community in which she grew up.
What type of treatment will
Treatment is based on the initial examination findings along with ongoing reassessment and evaluation. Treatment may consist of a variety of hands-on joint and soft tissue treatment techniques, gentle exercise techniques, pain reducing modalities, and education in self-management skills.
