Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Education: Aaron joined the professional staff at Northern Rehab after receiving his Master of Physical Therapy Degree from Northern Illinois University in the spring of 2002. In 2008, Aaron earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University in Denver, CO. In 2009, he completed board certification in orthopedic physical therapy. Aaron has also completed various courses focusing on evaluation and treatment of the spine, hip, foot and ankle, knee and shoulder. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Aaron has served on the Kishwaukee Family Board of Directors since 2004.
Clinically: Aaron enjoys seeing a varied caseload of orthopaedic conditions. His main professional interests lie in using manual therapy and exercise in the treatment of patients with spinal and extremity disorders. Aaron is also trained in fitting custom foot orthotics.
Socially: Aaron and his family live in DeKalb. He enjoys spending time outdoors riding his bike or playing golf.
What type of treatment will
Treatment is based on the initial examination findings along with ongoing reassessment and evaluation. Treatment may consist of a variety of hands-on joint and soft tissue treatment techniques, gentle exercise techniques, pain reducing modalities, and education in self-management skills.
